Stories from Here: Frenchman Bay Conservancy's Nature Writing Contest for Kids and Teens
How does the natural world color your experiences? What does this place mean to you? We can't wait to find out! Please submit up to 3 poems, or up to 1,500 words of fiction or essay(s). We encourage submissions from unpublished writers, especially writers who are based in eastern Hancock County, Maine, or who have a personal connection to the area. We are especially excited to read writing that's inspired by the lands, waters, and communities of eastern Hancock County and Downeast Maine. Please submit in only one category, and please do not submit any work that has been previously published. The last day to submit is Sunday, March 15. See our website (frenchmanbay.org/event) for additional details!
This is the submission form for youth writers (ages 17 and under). Please confirm that you intend to submit to the youth category. If you are in the wrong place, please return to frenchmanbay.org/event for the adult submission form.
